Self ligating (Damon) Metal Braces — Dr. Ellis uses the industry leading Damon self ligating brackets by Ormco to achieve efficient, safe and comfortable orthodontic movement.  

Clear Braces —Clear Self Ligating Damon braces are an option for adults concerned with the appearance of metal braces. Made of porcelain, they do not discolor or stain. Most adult patients can wear clear upper and lower braces, however there are some cases where clear braces are not recommended.  

Clear Removable Aligners - Some patients can improve the appearance of their teeth with clear, removable aligner trays. Several companies manufacture aligner systems.  Dr. Ellis proudly offers Spark Clear Aligners by Ormco to her patients seeking orthodontics without braces. As an alternative to the glued on type of orthodontic appliances, clear aligners are removable. They are a series of clear plastic “trays” that fit over your teeth and move them a little bit at a time until they are in the proper position. Your trays are designed with the help of specialized computer software that generates a virtual model of your bite.  Aligners work best for patients with mild to moderate bite problems. Dr. Ellis will let you know if you are a candidate for aligner treatment.
